Wells Fargo Wholesale Technology Services is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Java Engineer position for their Image File Import and Centralized Disbursements Manager Development Team. They will be responsible for enhancing and modernizing applications within an Agile environment. The Senior Java Engineer will act in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for complex application projects and initiatives. They will utilize a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs and will work complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of intangible variance factors. The Senior Java Engineer will plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for complex platform designs, coding, and testing. They will lead the complex multiple modeling, simulations, and analysis efforts and act as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
5+ years of software engineering experience
5+ years of Java experience
4+ years of experience working with Relationship Database Management Systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
1+ years of experience with Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Knowledge and understanding of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
Banking industry experience
Other Desired Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Git, uDeploy, and Artifactory
Experience with Eclipse, MyEclipse, VS Code
Experience with object-oriented analysis and design patterns
Ability leading small to medium teams and projects
Experience with middleware such as TomCat, WebLogic, and WebSphere
Ability to work additional hours as needed
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
