Review for accuracy account reconciliations on core applications - checking, savings, loans, safe deposit and time deposits to the general ledger from core reports.
Prepare account reconciliations on correspondent bank accounts.
Prepare account reconciliations on many general ledger and internal checking accounts.
Manage a number of general ledger balances to application totals using Core Balancing tool.
Reconcile Teller and ATM cash and prepare variation reports.
Reconcile Money Gram official checks and perform various functions to support the program.
Reconcile Interest on Lawyers Trust accounts and submit interest earned to each states Bar Foundation.
Reconcile Florida Documentary Stamps and submit report for filing and payment.
Reconcile monthly Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae and FHLB reconciliations to identify differences.
Review reports and reconcilements of banks purchased for conversion to our system.
Work closely with other departments on research to make sure entries clear timely.
Support internal and external audits through timely and accurate completion of all reconcilements.
Team Lead Responsibilities
Assist the manager in review of all reconciliations
Act as backup for manager to ensure all reconciliations are completed, and should someone call in - reassign workload appropriately
Act as back up for manager for standard SOX review procedures
Assist with related projects during mergers/acquisitions
Assist with the gathering of GL and DDA accounts of newly acquired institutions.
Assist with determining a best practice for merging them into our GL structure
Assist with the creation/understanding of GL mapping alongside Busey's finance leadership.
Assist in set up and maintenance within Automated Balancing System.

Education & Training:
Requires an Associate's degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping. Bank experience a plus.
1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
