Design and compose technical documents, including installation manuals, configuration and user guides, feature descriptions, customer use cases, instructional videos and release notes using industry best practices while adhering to content and brand standards.
Write clear and concise procedural documentation for a technical audience as well as the ability to translate that content for a non-technical audience.
Collaborate in distributed team environment, actively engage subject matter experts, and follow through on commitments.
Work closely with development teams and subject matter experts to understand new product features, provide feedback on user experience on those features, and compose into useful content for the end user.
Test and compose customer-facing API and integration documentation for multiple products.
Experience with agile, rapid iteration and fast delivery.
Provide support to marketing and implementation teams.
Work closely with internal teams to design and compose knowledge base and intranet materials.
Create, evaluate and recommend revisions to standards and guidelines.
Skills and experience you should possess:
3-5 years technical writing/documentation experience
Strong ability to convert technical content into simple terminology understood across a broad audience base.
Experience editing and authoring end-user documentation.
Familiarity with content management systems and/or web site production tools and processes.
Experience with authoring in markup languages like Markdown/Wiki/HTML.
Familiarity with SDLC, knowledge of Agile and continuous integration practices.
Hands-on JIRA experience.
Experience writing API documentation.
Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams, excellent problem-solving skills and process-implementation skills.
BA/BS degree in Technical Communications or related field, or equivalent work experience.
