What you’ll be doing...
You’ll be using your technical expertise and sales skills to help develop wireless and networking solutions for our customers. Your role will involve identifying customer sales opportunities, conducting needs analysis, designing and developing wireless solutions, and managing solutions through to implementation. You will also work closely with partners from across the business to identify additional sales opportunities that most efficiently meet client needs. We are constantly innovating to bring the best cutting-edge technologies to our customers to enable them to work faster and smarter and you can be part of the team to make this happen.
Driving account penetration by leveraging new and existing products and services, and collaborating with the sales teams at every level of the organization.
Translating customer business issues/opportunities into technical solution / business requirements.
Partnering with other subject matter experts to develop solutions and design system architecture for an assigned customer base with an emphasis on global managed services and communications solutions portfolio.
Participating and presenting in executive briefings and direct customer facing engagements with C-level audiences.
Designing high value Onsite LTE/5G, M2M, IoT and Fixed Wireless Access solutions.
Resolving failures and malfunctions by troubleshooting networks, systems, and applications.

You take a keen interest in the competitive landscape and the latest trends and technologies and the possibilities it creates. As an effective communicator, you build strong client and team relationships and can explain complex technical systems in a straightforward manner by tailoring the content to your audience as appropriate.
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Five or more years of experience in the communications and/or network industry in a sales-oriented, technical design and engineering role, with an emphasis on IP-based network, communications and mobility solutions.
Five or more years of architecture experience in conceptualization, definition and development of IT and or telecom based products and service with verifiable instances of implementing one or more of the following: Data and IP Services (ATM, Frame Relay, VoIP, PIP, VPN, IP PBX), Managed Network Services (LAN, WAN, SDWAN, Content Delivery), Data Center Outsourcing (application hosting, managed storage).
Strong knowledge of network, communications and mobility protocols.
Working knowledge of switching, routing, server, video, UC&C and mobility equipment.
Knowledge of storage networking/cloud computing.
Experience with cellular solutions, design, and deployment in areas such as DAS, Private LTE, 5G, RF management, cellular RAN technologies, and enhanced packet core.
Knowledge of 3GPP Specifications for 5G/LTE, specifically Rel-15/16.
5G/4G Call Processing experience with knowledge of protocols and new and existing features.
Demonstrated experience in solution design –ability to lead a design-related discussion with leading questions to fully vet solution requirements and develop a proposed design fulfilling said requirements, identify potential impacts of a given design recommendation, knowledge of other technologies and their network requirements/impact, ability to produce comprehensive yet understandable technical documentation (design document, diagrams, etc.)
Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Valid driver’s license.
Even better if you have:
Five or more years of technical experience and increasing responsibility (team lead, mentoring, and technical lead for large, multi-technology deployments).
Ability to stay ahead of wireless trends and forthcoming technology.
Proven capabilities to conduct prospect and territory research to uncover and close sales opportunities.
Ability to translate technology trends to salesforce and customer base.
Demonstrated expertise in correlating business drivers and needs (financial drivers, impacts, and restrictions) into technical solutions, on proposed solutions.
Experience securing C-suite level meetings and executive briefings.
Demonstrated knowledge of, and interest in, emerging technologies such as IoT, SDN, NFV, etc.
Interest in other technical areas of data communications with a demonstrated desire to proactively learn new, or increase existing, skillset(s).
Experience with any of the following: cellular WAN technologies and solutions, WAN optimization, Wireless LAN, datacenter technologies (load balancers, datacenter switching, etc.), virtualization technologies and concepts (Hypervisors, orchestration, software defined datacenter, NFV, etc.), security appliances and concepts (firewalls, IPS/IDS, identity management, access controls, etc.).
Ability to take high level direction and proactively move a project or internal initiative from start to finish with minimal assistance.
