As a Loss Prevention Intern, you will assist with the monitoring and mitigating of risk through transactional review and investigations, collaborating with BSA analysts in detecting suspicious transaction activity, conducting customer due diligence reviews, and assisting with review of ATM & MasterCard debit card transaction disputes. Additionally, you will complete all regular reporting in a timely manner, and provide assistance to product and business managers as necessary. This is a full time opportunity at our Ionia office, with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

What We're Looking For:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business, criminal justice or related field preferred. Will consider other education levels along with related experience and related skills.
• Banking experience preferred. Strong PC, interpersonal, oral & written communication skills required.
• Must be self-directed, possess an assertive personality, and able to prioritize multiple duties, motivated to accomplish tasks, meet objectives and deadlines.
• Research, investigation, and proven analytical ability required.
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with both internal and external customers.
• Ability to independently make sound decisions in high stress situations essential.
• Strong organizational skills and PC knowledge of window based applications required.
