MEMBER EXPERIENCE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE , MIT Federal Credit Union , to be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of member maintenance transactions. This will include address changes; adding joint owners to existing memberships; processing ATM and debit card maintenance; setting travel alerts; processing stop payments (cashier checks and personal checks) and check orders; processing mail-in transactions (deposits, payments, additional maintenance requests; opening online-initiated member accounts, including follow-up on incomplete applications; and providing backup for VTM tellers as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of and expertise in utilizing member interface technology, electronic delivery systems, and numerous software applications used by the Credit Union; inputting member transactions (share deposits, share withdrawals, payments) via electronic delivery systems; inputting/completing membership applications via member interface technology; assisting/advising members by electronic delivery systems with new account services (including additions or changes in member accounts); responding to member inquiries via electronic delivery system to identify issues and needs and proposing solutions in a timely manner; providing high-quality member service; keeping current on changes in technology and electronic and alternative delivery methods; protecting the confidentiality of all financial data related to bank operations and its members; processing check orders; and implementing and complying with credit union policies and procedures.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : a high school diploma or equivalent certificate of education and at least one year of member/customer service experience. PREFERRED : credit union, banking, or other financial industry experience. Job #20162-4
