The Resiliency Product Lead for Technology Resiliency Solutions will support the Head of Resiliency Engineering in shaping and driving the product management related activities related to resiliency solutions. Resiliency solutions include capabilities supporting Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery (DR) playbook orchestration and failover automation, App to Infra dependency mapping, reporting etc. Key Responsibilities Include: - Play a leadership role in defining the product vision and roadmap, and work with development/delivery teams and other stakeholder groups across the Enterprise in delivering the capabilities outlined in the roadmap.
- Engage key resiliency stakeholders involved in activities such as BCP, DR exercises/tests, cyber resiliency, data resiliency, crisis management etc., and develop requirements for target state resiliency solutions. The product lead will drive the implementation, roll out and adoption activities.
- Engage with development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contributes to design activities and decisions.
- Partners with Delivery Leadership and Service Owners to ensure capabilities are delivered effectively.
- Collaborate in UX design decisions.
- Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product manager and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of technology experience
- 7+ years of experience delivering complex enterprise wide information technology solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
- Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
- Ability to interact effectively and confidently with senior management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile
- Solid negotiation skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Other Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of the latest industry trends in the Technology Resiliency and IT Service Management domains and is considered a Subject Matter Expert on the product
- Understanding of Technology Architecture, Engineering, and Operations processes and tools
- 2-3 years experience as Product Manager or Product Lead for Enterprise Technology Solutions (e.g. ITSM Solutions such as ServiceNow; Automation solutions such as Ansible, Chef etc.; Monitoring solutions such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace etc.; CMDB tools)
- Familiar with requirements definition, use case definition, story definition and refinement
- Knowledge of product roadmap definition; feature and backlog management
- Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles
- Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts
- Ability to analyze data, create process flows and presentations
- Experience in leading large initiatives involving roll out of new capabilities to internal technology teams
