Compliance, Legal, Audit & Regulatory Technology (CLAR) provides technology support and development for Legal & Data Controls, Compliance Risk & Audit, Financial Crimes, Front Office and Second Line Risk, Employee Compliance, Regulator Regulations, Market Surveillance, and Regulator Change Management.

The Customer Data Management (CDM) Technology team is looking for a Java Software Engineer where you will be developing ETL processes to transform data, building java code to support our workflow tool, and utilizing Oracle SQL to manipulate data. You'll work on complex problems and business processes which will support our effort to increase the quality of customer data. You will be part of a technical agile team, which build advanced software designs, code leveraging test-driven development, and support the implementation through game plans, documentation, and limited operational support.

Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:

• Responsible for design, coding, and testing of complex computer applications for the Wells Fargo Customer Data Management application, an enterprise-wide business application for protecting customer information.
• Have an understanding of application integration constructs which include MuleSoft, Apache Camel, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Rest in the management of complex work flow.
• Develop a loosely coupled architecture making use of the appropriate constructs which should include micro-services, work flows and routes.
• Be comfortable in an Agile environment, have an understanding of version control (GIT), CICD, uDeploy, Jenkins and able to generate documentation as required.
• Write Selenium/Junit/integration test cases to validate the code quality and code coverage.
• Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate development, build, deployment and testing.
• Build secure and API frameworks by following industry standards within digital channels.
• Plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for complex platform designs, coding, and testing. 
• Be fluent in PL-SQL and Perl or Python.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years of Java experience
• 4+ years of JavaScript framework experience (YUI, Angular, Node)
• 4 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 2+ years of advanced scripting experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Perl, Python, Java, or PL-SQL

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 3+ years of Oracle experience
• 3+ years of PL/SQL experience
• 3+ years of UNIX experience
• A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

• 1+ Year of Vaadin experience
• Wells Fargo software engineering experience. 

• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• Ability to work outside of regular business hours
