Department OverviewThe Consumer Lending Technology group within the Wells Fargo Technology business consists of Home lending, Auto and Platform support for various applications across retail/mortgage lending businesses.
About the RoleTeam member will work as part of the Lending Grid Platform Support team to support lending Grid hosted services on Lending Grid Platform. Will interact closely with multiples internal teams like Middleware/Database/Network/Application Development teams etc. Responsibilities Handle complex technical support issues. Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them. Do Root Cause Analysis of repetitive and problem issues. Report issues and resolve as per process and documentation. Perform analysis of existing problem tickets. Help team members in handling L1/L2 issues. Ownership of tasks assigned and meeting the deadlines. Identify and automate manual steps in support work. Streamline existing process in project. Focusing on documentation of new issues and resolution steps for knowledge base enhancement. Adhere to processes defined in the project. Actively participate in team meeting and in meetings with stakeholders/internal or external teams. Conducting demo calls for knowledge awareness. Essential Qualifications University degree in Computer applications or related discipline. Experience of about 6-8 years in Java based production Support (L2/L3). Good and sound knowledge on JAVA, UNIX, PCF, Shell scripting, web services, Tomcat. Experience working with Splunk and AppDynamics. Production Support Intermediate level experience with working experience on Monitoring tools (AppDynamics, Splunk). Good hands on experience in scripting and automation of support tasks. Experience in handling complex technical support issues and automating manual steps, and proven record of ability to do deep dive into RCA analysis and finding solutions of complex matters. Must have good problem solving and debugging skills Strong analytical skills. Fluency in English and good communication skills. Desired Qualifications Experience of working across one or more geographic territories or regions. Certification in ITIL/PCF.
