Enterprise Finance Technology has embarked on an ambitious Finance and Accounting Transformation program.  This is an exciting opportunity to support finance technology area as a Full Stack Java/J2EE developer. You will be involved in development of Micro services that will provide the solutions to build portal application components to support the strategic enterprise finance platform.  Focus will be on development, testing, and deployment of compute, calculation and data storage of critical financial balances to support General Ledger and Regulatory reporting requirements. You will be part of a team that will work closely with Line of Business Controllers to ensure that the bank meets all its daily and monthly financial and compliance requirements. This is a unique opportunity to make a huge impact to the Finance Technology area as various transformational projects are implemented.

Primary responsibilities for the individual in this role will be:

• Build Micro services APIs using Spring boot/REST APIs to consume and deliver large scale of confidential data
• Responsible for API Design, API Development, API Integrations and Micro services Management
• Building Angular UI Components(Version 6 and above) using with HTML5 and CSS3
• Responsible for implementing DevOps and tools such as UDeploy, Jenkins, Gradle or Maven and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) environment.
• Building solutions aligned with the Enterprise pipeline and capabilities such as CI/CD, containerization, and Cloud technologies
• Must be comfortable working on multiple, complex issues and projects
• Participate in production support/releases as required
• Ensure adherence to & reinforcement of delivery best practices

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of Agile experience
• 3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 3+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
• 3 + years of JavaScript Frameworks experience (jQuery, Ext JS, Kendo UI and/or Angular JS)
• 3+ years of experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 2+ years of experience with continuous integration development technologies such as IBM Udeploy, (UrbanCode Deploy), Jenkins, etc.
• A BS/BA degree or higher in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge or experience of containerization related management stacks with Docker, Swarm or Kubernetes
• Knowledge and understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC): code control, build and deployment
• Knowledge and understanding of web application and infrastructure automation development
• 5+ years of Apache Spark design and development experience using Scala, Java, Python or Data Frames with Resilient Distributed Datasets (RDDs)

• 3+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
