This Software Engineer role will provide technical solutions within Commercial Capital's large-scale Oracle Siebel implementations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Siebel application development, enterprise integration and service oriented architecture. As an Engineer you will be responsible for full end-to-end platform initiatives & operational management of a highly integrated, complex, mission critical application suite. The ability to work in a positive and collaborative manner, within a large virtual team setting, is crucial. Responsibilities include: - Design, develop & configure Siebel based applications with engineering mindset and agile development practices.
- Propose efficient, resilient, scalable, secure and reusable design solutions.
- Requirement Analysis and ability to breakdown a complex problem into manageable work units.
- Work with downstream and upstream partner teams to ensure smooth and faster resolution.
- Ability to think out of the box to design, build and implement solutions across various business lines
- Communicate effectively by using design or architecture flow diagrams wherever applicable.
- Provide technical expertise to support team during incident/problem resolution.
- Play a technical SME role and ensure that the design/code are in conformance with Siebel Best practices.
- Effectively collaborate with the partners & ensure communication and reporting of delivery.
- Ensuring quality and security of the solutions and address any remediation as needed.
- Identifying new process optimization opportunities and accurately analyze and estimate new processes & quickly assess feasibility.
- Creating and maintaining technical design documents and other project related artifacts.
- Providing guidance, Training and up skilling the development team as required.
- Capturing, sharing & implementing the best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrating, supporting or development with Oracle Siebel
- 5+ years of experience in Siebel EAI (Web Services, MQ, HTTP Integration, iframes, VBC, EBCs)
- 5+ years of experience in Siebel configuration, scripting & workflows
- 3+ years of experience in Siebel Open UI (JavaScript/CSS/HTML) and latest Siebel Innovation Packs - IPv16 or higher
Desired Qualifications
- An industry-standard technology certification
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
- 10+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
- 5+ years of Apache experience
- 3+ years of Tomcat development or implementation experience
- 5+ years of Weblogic experience
- Knowledge and understanding of IIS
- 5+ years of CA Siteminder experience
- 5+ years of Autosys experience
- 5+ years of Network Data Mover (NDM) experience
- Knowledge and understanding of F5 ASM
- Knowledge and understanding of F5 LTM
- 5+ years of Splunk experience
- Experience with systems monitoring tools such as HP OpenView, Nagios, SiteScope, Xymon or Big Brother/Hobbit
- Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile
- Knowledge and understanding of Java
- 5+ years of JIRA experience
- Strong experience from a resiliency design perspective in one or more of the following areas: Technology & Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery, Cyber resiliency, Data Corruption, Cloud Resiliency, and Data Center resiliency procedures/solutions
