Wells Fargo Digital Technology group is seeking a Software Sr. Engineer with prior experience in retail / consumer banking application experience who will serve as a Technical Leader for applications in our Community and Small Business Banking Customer Journey area. The Technology Lead participates in the growth of a framework that delivers service to multi-million daily user sessions to very large set of devices used by our diverse customer base, from the oldest web browser to the newest smart watch. Our Mission is to support our company's Vision & Values by delivering; maintaining and supporting high quality software solutions that provide our customers with outstanding digital experiences that will help them manage their financial needs.    

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Working closely with application teams, infrastructure and middleware teams to maintain applications that are secure and highly scalable/available. Plan, execute and maintain road maps in alignment with Enterprise Security standards and in accordance to established business SLA's.

The Software Sr. Engineer influences the strategy across multiple channels. Key interactions in the role are working with technology partners in supporting and on-boarding new applications along with Business users to define the long term goal Working closely with product managers to understand requirements and work through the 'what and the how' to implement features for customers of the digital channel and bankers. Other responsibilities include working with architecture and development teams to evaluate technical designs and associated trade-offs.

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of Splunk experience
• 4+ years of Agile experience
• 5+ years of secure SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) methodologies experience
• 3+ years application security vulnerability detection and mitigation experience with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Top 10 and SANS Common Weakness Enumeration Top 25
• 7 + years of Java Web Services experience
• 4 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
• 5+ years of experience leading technical development teams
• 2+ years of experience creating proof of concepts, creating exploits, or a combination of both
• A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
• 2+ years of technical specification creation and documentation experience using Sparx System's (EA) Enterprise Architect v8.0
• 4+ years of application test driven development (TDD) experience
• 3+ years of GitHub experience
• 6 + years of experience designing and implementing solutions for test automation using Selenium and Java
• 7 + years of JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development experience
• 7 + years of experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• 6 + years of Java Web Services experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
• Wells Fargo production support experience
• 5 + years of Wells Fargo application development experience
• Experience supporting or directing offshore teams
• Experience with Wells Fargo project management methodologies
• Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
