Wholesale Digital Transformation Technology team within the Commercial and Corporate & Investment Banking Technology (CCIBT) group is looking for an experienced Java Developer for development and ongoing maintenance across several customer facing applications including Statements and Notices, Basic Banking, Recognition Card, Cash Vault Online etc. The candidate will be responsible for leading the design/development/maintenance of new and existing system solutions. Development of ongoing enhancements of business workflows is a primary focus of this position along with security enhancements. Support for line of business activities is also a critical expectation. Must be both an excellent individual contributor as well as have the capability to lead small teams of employees and consultants.  Breaks down work and assists in making assignments to other team members. Assists management to ensure that all systems are compliant with corporate standards, follow the change management process, and that application will pass any technical audit. Collaborates with other technical areas to integrate across platforms and responsibilities.  Will be required to communicate and interact with various levels of business leaders to help define and understand requirements.  Acts as a lead technologist for complex payments system projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and proficient skills in full stack Java, J2EE based web applications development. Demonstrated knowledge of design using latest technologies will be highly valuable.

Candidate must be willing to work out of our Fremont, CA location.

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 5 + years of Core Java experience
• 5 + years of J2EE experience
• 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
• 5+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology

• 5+ years of Spring Configuration, and Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Rest API, Spring DATA (Spring 4.x or higher).
• 1+ years of Knowledge of JPA and Querydsl.
• Knowledge and understanding of conversions, system analysis, data mapping, conversion reconcilement, validation and implementations
• Knowledge and understanding of SOA (Services Oriented Architecture)
• Experience in developing micro services.
• Experience developing, supporting or integrating messaging technology such as JMS, MQ
• Knowledge and understanding of static code review
• Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation: impact analysis, detailed designs and unit test plans.
• Knowledge of web security and remediation techniques.
• Knowledge of Gradle and GIT experience. Experience in managing code using GitHub. Knowledge of UNIX/GIT bash.
• Knowledge of deploying in WebLogic Server, Tomcat.
• Knowledge and understanding of Oracle
• Experience with continuous integration using Jenkins
• Understanding and experience with Message Driven beans
• Knowledge or Experience in front end framework such as React, , Node.js

• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
