Wells Fargo Technology, is looking for an Application Support Engineer to work with diverse business functions and development team across multiple line of businesses within the Wells Fargo CCBIT (Commercial and Corporate Bank Information Technology) team. The candidate will get the opportunity to: - Understand functioning of current trading and risk systems and get involved in building and supporting ETL/computing platform for these systems
- Understand systems and application code to troubleshoot and provide guidance to app dev teams
- Consult with internal business groups to provide application software development services or technical support.
- Provide comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.
- Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs using standard development methodology.
- Evaluate compliance with the organization's technology standards.
- Work with internal business groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.
- Analyze information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for a specific business group.
- Participate in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies.
- Advocate for innovative, creative technology solutions.
- Contribute to the achievement of area objectives.
The candidate will be expected to: - Administrating, supporting multiple Informatica product suits(MDM, PowerCenter, RulePoint)
- Work closely with application teams help with onboarding, troubleshooting, packaging, deployment
- Plan, install, configure, test environments expansions, technology refresh, migration projects
- Lead the design and implement efficiency improvements, risk control improvements solutions
- Lead the Informatica operation standardization and automation
- Work closely with DBA partners to standardize DB operation and configurations
The candidate will additionally be expected to provide hands on technical support, advice, and consultation with open issues relating to supported applications plus assure quality, performance, security, trading risk controls, and compliance for those application platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
- 3+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
- 5+ years of Informatica Administration Experience
- 3+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
- 3 + years of Windows or Linux scripting experience
- 3+ years of experience working with at least one Relationship Database Management System (RDBMS) such as Oracle, MS SQL, Teradata or DB2 LUW
- 2 + years of experience supporting or designing complex ETL production environments
- 1+ years of experience with Big Data or Hadoop tools such as Spark, Hive, Kafka and Map
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization; including management
- Strong team or technical leadership experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
- Cloud computing experience
- Windows OS administration experience
- 2+ years of data warehouse experience
- Knowledge and understanding of relational database concepts, querying, data warehousing, ETL process, requirements gathering and/or decision support tools
- 2+ years of WebSphere experience
- JBOSS experience
Other Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Informatica product suits, MasterDataManager, PowerCenter, RulePoint, IDQ, Address Doctor, MetaDataManager.
- Past experience with Informatica environments consolidation.
