The Technology Cyber and Data Resiliency Consultant role will function as a lead assigned to testing oversight and governance related initiative(s) or work-stream(s) within the larger Technology Continuity and Resilience (TCR) program and objectives with a focus on cyber and data recovery.
The Technology Cyber and Data Resiliency consultant Liaison will serve as a strategic enabler for resiliency in the enterprise and work to integrate the cyber resiliency and data corruption functions into all areas of the Technology Continuity & Resiliency organization. This role partners with the Head of Cyber Resiliency lead and technology and business stakeholders, to account for cyber resiliency and data corruption perspectives in the Technology Continuity & Resiliency organization. This includes ensuring cyber resiliency is accounted for in technology resiliency requirements, improvements, standards and procedures and exercises across all technology domains. The role will coordinate with the different functional areas and organizations that are part of the over-arching Technology Resiliency construct and will drive efforts to ensure consistency of methodology and a standardized, holistic approach to Technology Resiliency that is inclusive of Cyber Resiliency.
This position will ensure that cyber resiliency and data corruption viewpoints are incorporated into all facets of technology resiliency, including Technology Resiliency strategy, governance, oversight, risk profile, preparedness, testing, and execution and reporting of all Technology Resiliency activities.
Primary interface for Cyber Resiliency and Data Corruption Functions into over-arching Technology Resiliency Function and through to Enterprise Resiliency
Works with Technology Continuity & Resiliency team to incorporate cyber resiliency and data corruption viewpoints and the cyber threat landscape into Technology Resiliency risk profile and threat matrix, strategy, and testing strategy
Partner with cyber resiliency, data corruption teams and application stakeholders to provide oversight and quality assurance for Technology Resiliency plans pertaining to cyber resiliency and data corruption (plans include but are not limited to test plans, playbooks, recovery plans)
Work with Cyber Resiliency and Data Corruption teams, as well as other stakeholders, to meet Business Resiliency and Disaster Recovery Risk management policy requirements. Plan and support cyber resiliency and data corruption testing events managed by respective teams and informed by the threat landscape and over-arching Technology Resiliency strategy
Provide input into architecture and engineering solutions to ensure compliance with Data Corruption and Cyber Resiliency requirements
Monitors compliance of Cyber Resiliency controls in alignment with the Enterprise Business Resilience and Disaster Recovery Risk Management Policy
The role will require strong leadership, collaboration, communication, planning and problem solving skills to effectively work with other teams including Enterprise Business Continuity, Operational Risk, Technology Infrastructure, Audit and various business groups across the enterprise.
Candidates should be comfortable working in small agile teams and fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Candidates should also possess the necessary skills and flexibility for conducting work as a leader with influence across many teams and have the ability to be a productive individual contributor.
7+ years of technology experience
4+ years of leadership or management experience
5+ years of business continuity planning experience
2+ years of Cyber Resilience experience
Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business
Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
Strong experience from a resiliency design perspective in one or more of the following areas: Technology & Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery, Cyber resiliency, Data Corruption, Cloud Resiliency, and Data Center resiliency procedures/solutions
Experience building risk programs for Technology Information and Cyber Security
10+ years of information security experience including experience in one or more of the following security disciplines: information security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, host/network forensics, cyber-crime investigation, penetration testing, business continuity, or cyber threat intelligence
Knowledge and understanding of malware reverse engineering including: code or behavior analysis for endpoints and the network
Knowledge and understanding of threat analysis and assessment of potential and current information security risk/threats
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
Experience working in a large enterprise environment
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
