This Information Security Engineer (ISE) role is on the Cyber Security Innovation (CSI) – Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) team within the Cyber Threat Management group performing application and system engineering for our Atlassian tool suite.  This includes system support for Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket supporting the Information and Cyber Security organization.  The ideal candidate should be experienced in lifecycle management of vendor applications, troubleshooting issues and tuning system performance.  Additional responsibilities include establishing and managing effective monitoring visibility to measure and address system issues, and partnering with internal and vendor resources to execute against a plan to maintain and support our Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket systems.   Candidate will also provide technical expertise needed to resolve complex issues.

• 5+ years of information security applications and systems experience
• 4+ years of information technology applications and systems experience
• 3+ years of Linux administration experience
• 3+ years of experience with Jira software, Confluence software or combination of both

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• 1+ year of Oracle experience
• 1+ year experience of MySQL
• 1+ year of vendor management experience
• 2+ years of change management experience

• Experience working in a large enterprise environment
• Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
• Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
