We are seeking a Sr. Java Application Developer supporting our Enterprise Content Management (ECM) organization for an experienced Java/Web Services developer who will be involved in implementing and supporting projects and enterprise releases for next-generation Web Services, Microservices and API's. Project work requires the ability to execute well across the entire development lifecycle and within each of the application layers: presentation, business logic, and data, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. 

Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop and test SOAP/RESTful J2EE Java services
• Work within Agile squads with Product Owners, SMEs, architects, analysts and other project team members
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including documentation, code reviews, research and support
• Design, code, test, debug and document software using Agile development practices.
• Participate in production releases as required.
• Develop strong relationships with end users and partners to effectively solve problems.
• Triage/debug issues and identify root cause and corrective actions.
• Build Micro services APIs using Spring boot/REST APIs to consume and deliver large scale of confidential data
• Ensure adherence to & reinforcement of delivery best practices

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 4+ years of Java experience
• 2+ years of Agile experience
• 2+ years of experience in microservices development
• 2+ years of DevOps experience

• An industry-standard technology certification
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge and understanding of API programming with Perl, XML, REST or JSON

• Ability to work additional hours as needed
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
