The Physical Access Control Technologies Engineering Manager position will provide ongoing engineering management for all Physical Access Control Technologies including Alert Enterprise (Physical Identity and Access Management System), Lenel Physical Access Control System, Parabit ATM Vestibule Physical Access Security System, Thermal Imaging solutions (fever detection), and other critical facility perimeter security systems. This includes managing an engineering and support team to implement, enhance, and support products according to Agile methodologies, as well as business relationship management, product management, engineering management, compliance management, and engineering support of these systems and management. The position also requires cross-functional leadership to be successful in a matrix environment, and knowledge of IT and information security standards. A significant portion of the technology support team resides in India so the ability to work with offshore technology managers and staff is also a critical support factor. This is a key position that manages significant risk associated with physical access security, technology and information security risks for Wells Fargo and the ability to effectively manage technology, compliance, availability and other operational risks is a critical requirement.

5+ years of technology engineering experience
4+ years of leadership and people management experience in a technology environment
8+ years of information technology experience
Management experience in a bank environment
Managing deployment and ongoing management and resolution of technical issues
Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals
Ability to turn preliminary or ambiguous information, ideas, or problems into well-defined plans and solutions
Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions
Ability to meet performance objectives in service and quality assurance
Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change
Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
Ability to lead without authority within a matrixed environment
Other Desired Qualifications
- 3 years experience, and knowledge of Physical Access Control Systems - 2 years experience leading teams in Agile product engineering - A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to provide and work from a home office
Willingness to work on-site at stated location on the job opening
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to work additional hours as needed
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment
