The Software Engineer provides technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. Responsibilities are varied and may include one or more of the following:
Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign computer solutions.
Develops original and/or complex code or provides coding guidance to less experienced staff
Leads and/or performs modeling, simulations and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
Participates in overall-systems testing.
Leads the migration of applications to production.
Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.
As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
Leads projects, including assignment of tasks, and provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff.
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan.

5+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years of Tomcat development or implementation experience
5+ years of Documentum administration experience
3+ years of experience upgrading and downgrading code, applying hardware configurations and patches, or a combination of both
2 + years of experience with Agile tools
5+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, implementation or administration of Jboss Application Server
4+ years of experience with the installation, configuration, implementation or administration of Apache webservers
5+ years of Red Hat Linux or UNIX experience
3+ years of environment test coordination, code deployment, release management and communication experience
5+ years of Java experience
3+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience
5+ years of experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS)
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
A Master's degree or higher
2+ years of PAC2000 Change Management experience
2+ years of PAC2000 Problem Management experience
2 + years of SQL Server SSIS, SSRS and SSAS experience
Experience with access control lists (ACLs), Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) servers, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Active Directory
Knowledge and understanding of hardware and infrastructure concepts
2+ years of technical documentation and publication experience
Other Desired Qualifications
2+ years of experience in monitoring software upgrade requirements and ensuring compliance and compatibility with existing configurations.
Proficient with Documentum DQL queries.
