As a part of Wells Fargo's Identity and Access Management Engineering organization, you would be responsible for developing advanced data science and analytic capabilities to empower the Identity and Access Management with predictive and analytical capabilities to support technical controls and compliance. Assisting with the selection and implementation of tools that provide advanced data driven analysis and decision making capabilities for identity and access management teams.
The Database Sr. Engineer will be responsible for managing Identity and Access management data, repositories and controls along with infrastructure, data hygiene, and analytical tool development and implementation. This role is responsible for working with other engineering team members within Identity and Access Management Build Engineering, to develop and implement innovative solutions and analytical tools for the IAM Portfolio.
Areas of responsibility will include, but not limited to, data source identification, data modeling and assessment, analytical model (machine learning) development and management, code development and testing for tools.
7+ years of database (DB) technologies experience
3+ years of Logical + Physical Data Modeling experience
7+ years of software development experience supporting large-scale distributed technology projects and migrations
3 + years of experience using quantitative machine learning techniques
3+ years of design, implementation and governance experience with Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing or Machine Learning architecture
5 + years of experience supporting or designing complex ETL production environments
2+ years of Agile experience
Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools
Strong technical and task/timeline-oriented skills
Experience managing one or more industry-standard development tools or scripting languages
Experience with large data sets, transactional platforms, or a combination of both
Experience with end-to-end design and delivery of data warehouse applications
Knowledge and understanding of BI platform and tools such as: SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, and TSQL
Knowledge and understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management)
Data modeling experience
Knowledge and understanding of data visualization
Knowledge and understanding of Hadoop
Other Desired Qualifications
Strong customer relationship management skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of experience with Data science, Machine learning, optimization models, exploratory data analysis(EDA)
5+ years of experience working with a variety of data sources to including SQL, Oracle, and various data mart's.
3+ years of experience with ETL tools such as NDM, Autosys, SSIS, etc
Experience creating a Data Lake from scratch
