Systems Operations Sr. Analyst are key members of the Site team to be accountable for the daily operations of Data Center Management Group's Core Data Centers/Regional Data Centers. The analysts act as a liaison between our business partners, and technical organization by participating in planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of systems and components supporting various lines of businesses. Provide assistance with identifying and evaluating procedures to meet the business needs. Will work with user groups to resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Implement system changes and/or new sub systems.
Leverage tools such as Pac2000, NetZoom, Device Pro, HPNA and STSP to establish our daily deliverables to meet customer request.
Assist with maintaining data centers access policies thru authentication and scrutinizing access requests such as problem tickets, work orders and change requests.
Provide guidance to security regarding challenges around entry into the DC.
Perform with team members and vendors cabling installations, installation/de-installation of server equipment; which includes installation of associated power infrastructure.
Track daily project activities and coordinate with multiple partner organizations to meet project deliverables and timelines.
Work with vendors to determine and resolve equipment issues that may arise.
Familiarity with server, layer 1 infrastructure, and storage system installation/decommissioning procedures to ensure end to end completion of process.
SCHEDULE: Friday – Sunday 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM plus one 4 hour shift during the week based on business need. Please note that schedule may change based on business needs and must be flexible with working overtime as needed. In addition, shifts that are outside standard business hours may be eligible for shift differential pay based on policy.
3+ years of systems support analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience
2+ years of experience working in managed services as demonstrated through work, military, or education
3+ years of data center experience
Experience supporting technology at an enterprise-level
Ability to interact effectively at varying levels of the business and technical organizations; including management
Strong team or technical leadership experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and understanding of data center: network designs
Knowledge and understanding of Physical layer infrastructure in a raised floor data center environment
Knowledge and understanding of technical hardware: systems engineering, testing and analysis of data center physical computing systems (cabling, network, and storage and server equipment)
Certified Data Center Technician Professional (CDCTP)
Other Desired Qualifications
Data Center Certification such as:
Certified Data Center Technician (CDCT)
Certified Data Center Management Professional (CDCMP)
