Within the Enterprise Business Services Technology (EBST) group in Consumer & Small Business Banking Technology (CSBBT), there is an exciting opportunity for a software development engineer and test lead who will be responsible for the test automation design/strategy (using BDD/WAF, validate user stories using BDD, create virtualization, setup and validate CI Jenkins pipeline), test implementation strategy and overall quality engineering governance for API/microservices implementation. This position will be part of the EBST engineering scrum team working on several critical middleware/microservices application. As an test engineer, this position will gain a strong understanding of the systems, the end to end work flow, the technical architecture and the overall business functionality.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Collaborate within the Scrum delivery team to promote quality engineering/test automation best practices
Work with Jenkins and CI/CD tools to automate development, build, deployment and testing
Focus on BDD/Test Automation while developing new features and also when refactoring existing code
5+ years of software engineering experience
3+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services
2+ years of Agile experience
2+ years of JIRA experience
2+ years of automation experience
1+ year of experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Gherkins or Cucumber
An industry-standard technology certification
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
5+ years of experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) tools
5+ years of experience with End to End (E2E) testing
Other Desired Qualifications
Prior experience working with SOA business services and microservices is highly desired.
Experience using Wells Fargo Automation Framework (WAF) for scenario based testing is desired
Prior experience using Vulcan platform for test automation is desired
Experience with CA Lisa/DevTest (or similar tool) for service virtualization testing
Proven experience working in a global/virtual team environment
Knowledge and understanding of Microservices/Cloud architecture, framework and design patterns
Well versed in CI/CD processes (using Jenkins/uDeploy)
Experience with Git and Github version control, Apache Maven, & Defect Tracking (JIRA) tools
BS/BA degree or higher in computer science/computer engineering/information systems/information technology
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
