Payments, Virtual Solutions, Innovation (PVSI) group aims to provide technology across Payments, Digital channels, Innovation Solutions (ACH, Wire, Credit Card, Debit Card, ATM, Branch, Contact Center, Commercial Card, Lockbox, Sweeps, Cash Flow, Deposits, Push2Card) in the form of Services, Solutions, Software, Products and helps PVSI CIO group to move forward in transforming the technology organization. This includes collaborating with Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, Strategy, Shared Service and Infrastructure teams.
About the Role
You will work as part of the Platform Management Technologies team to support Credit Card Retail Delivery applications. You will interact closely with multiples business partners within PVSI LoB.
Individual contributor responsible for CCBs/Rewards applications must have good background in production support area (L1/L2) and must be aware of Incident management, Problem management, Release & deployment management process along with ITIL Standards
Communicate diverse audiences, including DEV, QA, upstream/downstream support teams, vendors etc. Ability to simplify complex messages for consumption
Participate in Production/BCP support activities for the platform and applications with 24x7 coverage model in a global team setup.
Drive operational management via EACO/Incident response, communication and tracking along with root cause identification and closure.
Manage continuous services improvements and drives innovation to ensure SLAs and OLAs for the critical business processes and applications
Maintain and update all Production related documentation (e.g. game plans, run books, procedures, processes)
Ensure effective Production systems monitoring, alerting instrumentation and notification response/maintenance
Ability to productively multi-task and manage multiple concurrent issue resolution across portfolio
Overall 3+ years of experience and having hands on working experience of technologies like
Strong Linux O/S experience
Abilities to do scripting / understanding of scripting ( Shell/Perl/Python anyone )
Working experience on middleware technologies ( tomcat / Jboss / apache )
Understanding of load balancing concept and SSL certificates
Good understanding of Splunk and AppDynamics
Understanding of heap and thread dump
Understanding of build and deployment
Having knowledge on Jenkins and uDeploy is an added advantage
Having the clear understanding of release cycle. Proven experience in Unix, Windows,
Must be a self-starter with a passion to stay current with the newest online technologies
Good Analytical and Debugging skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with documentation practice
Shall be able to work under pressure, prioritize project needs, work in shifts
Passion towards problem-solving
Must be able to think proactively, excellent follow-through and attention to details
Must have prior experience in Prod Support model
Willing to work 16X7 model
Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, Engineering, Science, or Math.
