As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be required to fulfill the following responsibilities:
Work closely with multiple development teams across Digital to understand existing skill set and practices.
Develop and deliver solutions to problems with the best technology available within the Wells Fargo framework, while maintaining on-time delivery and appropriate follow up.
Lead complex development efforts with a strong track record of following Agile processes.
Provide SME guidance for other teams as needed.
Educate developer community on development best practices.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluate and recommend go forward approaches, and research issues/concerns to identify root causes
Document software changes, technical processes and procedures and develop recommendations to correct deficiencies and improve the technical processes.
Handle support escalations. Troubleshoot developer issues in large range of technologies.
Lead and mentor junior team members
10+ years of application development and implementation experience
7+ years of Java experience
2+ years of experience developing and using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
3+ years of Agile experience
Other Desired Qualifications
1+ year of Alfresco experience
2 + years authoring effective unit tests
Experience with one or more of the following databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
