As a member of an Agile Team within WIM, the Application Systems Engineer (ASE) will provide technical consultation and support in the development of computer applications and programs. The Team Member will work with fellow Agile Team Members to analyze business requirements, design and write technical specifications to redesign or solution complex computer platforms and applications. The ASE will deliver original and/or complex coding solutions and may provide direction to less experienced Team Members. The ASE will perform modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts. In accordance with Safety and Soundness initiatives, the ASE will verify program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, as well as testing and debugging of programs. The ASE will oversee overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. As appropriate, the ASE will develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures, and user guides. The Team Member will leads initiatives, assigning tasks and/or project resources or provide work direction as appropriate. In doing so, the ASE will be responsible for assuring quality, security, and compliance requirements are met and may contribute to and test the business continuation plan. Adherence to technical process controls/standards is required. Team Member may provide subject matter expertise to less experienced analysts and may provide input to supervisors on Team Member performance.
