The CTO organization has an exciting opportunity to join the DevOps team. We are responsible for Continuous Integration and Deployment. The technology tools we manage support all of Wells Fargo. We provide tools so our customers (developers) can build their applications and deploy to the servers. Our tools impacts more than 3K applications across the bank. Primary responsibilities of this position are supporting the availability of JENKINS, identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, supporting product and software upgrades, and addressing triage build issues.
Provides high level technical systems consultation and support within Wells Fargo Technology. Duties are varied and may include one or more of the following:
Actively participates in the development of technical support strategies and plans
Acts as an internal consultant regarding use of tools and process reengineering to improve delivery,
support and governance process execution
Provides complex technical expertise for technical issues and initiatives related to large-scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services
Oversees the creation of diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, enhance and/or restore service or data to systems
Leads support projects and migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations
Identifies and drives resolution of complex network, hardware and software issues
Develops and negotiates workarounds
Initiates longer-term design solutions or projects
Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas
Oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan
Provides direction or guidance to less experienced staff
5+ years of Groovy experience
5+ years of experience with continuous integration tools such as Anthill or Jenkins
7+ years of systems support analysis experience
A BS/BA degree or higher
Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
5 + years of experience with server administration and job creation using Jenkins Continuous Integration server
2+ years of public cloud experience
1+ year of Kubernetes experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
