Job Description: Our ICS team is looking for a strong cybersecurity professional with experience in maturing, transforming, and driving program initiatives for our organization's incident response, threat hunting, and forensics programs. The candidate should have a well-rounded background in developing and maturing information technology and security processes/procedures, as well as network/endpoint security concepts. This role will serve as core driver in enhancing ICS' ability to prepare, identify, detect, analyze, contain, eradicate, and recover from cyber threats to Wells Fargo by identifying requirements, risks and opportunities; challenging the status quo; leading innovation; and, partnering with key subject matter experts to reduce risk to the firm. Regular collaboration with multiple teams such as the Cyber Threat Fusion Center, Security Content Development, Cyber Threat Intelligence, and Offensive Security teams will be critical to success. In addition, the candidate will play a major role in shaping how ICS responds to cyber threats, and, as such, a strong desire to lead projects through to completion despite challenges and constraints is a must.
In this role you will:
Use your understanding of cybersecurity and solutions-focused mindset to lead, execute, and maintain projects to enhance our incident response and threat detection programs in concert with the team lead, senior incident responders, and partner security teams.
Develop standard operating procedures; interpret, document, and communicate project results; identify operational risks and capability gaps; and, lead implementation of processes and procedures to resolve risks and integrate lessons learned.
7+ years of technology delivery and relationship management experience with a client organization
5+ years of information security experience
5+ years of Incident Response Protocols and Tools experience
Relationship management experience delivering technology services between one or more internal technology organizations and medium to large internal lines of business
2+ years of Information Security Frameworks and standards (FFIEC, NIST, ISO) experience
2+ years of JIRA experience
5+ years of project management experience
Knowledge and understanding of threat analysis and assessment of potential and current information security risk/threats
Knowledge and understanding of creation of basic charts and workflows using Visio
Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
Knowledge and understanding of project management principles: tracking deliverables and coordinating tasks and activities : deliverables
Ability to capture and document complex business and functional requirements
Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies
Ability to influence executive decision-making and successfully negotiate critical issue resolution related to program initiatives
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Experience with information security and risk management including: policy and standards, information security assessment, and mitigation solution design and implementation
Knowledge and understanding of information security strategy, risk assessments, architecture, and governance
Knowledge and understanding of financial services industry: compliance, risk management, or audit operations
Ability to coordinate processes or projects and compile documentation
Ability to work effectively under minimal supervision and follow specific guidelines
