Enterprise Function Technology (EFT) is seeking an Application System Engineer 6 (ASE6) to act as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs supporting Independent Price Verification.
Enterprise-wide Independent Price Verification Center of Excellence is a team responsible for ensuring accurate valuations and performing validation processes across all capital markets products, including but not limited to securities and derivatives. The project builds a new application and all the subsequent enhancements that will help meet stringent regulatory reporting time lines, and serve the needs of Financial controllers in price verification process. The application seeks to build best-in-class capabilities including robust data context and lineage, controls and audit trail, dynamic threshold capabilities using Machine Learning, facilitating independent price calculation for derivatives, as well as high level of automation to ensure reliability in work flow.
This hands-on developer will
Collaborate and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders to understand their strategy, align appropriate technology strategy, and collaborate to accomplish mission critical initiatives.
Act in the highest level technical role as an individual contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications and/or application initiatives.
Utilize a thorough understanding of available technology, tools, and existing designs.
Plan, perform, and act as the escalation point for the most complex platform designs, coding, and testing.

Knowledge of Product pricing for one or more cash products (Fixed Income, Commodities, Equity) or derivatives products (CDS, IRS, Volatility products)
Will work closely with the end-users of the IPV Center of Excellence team throughout the implementation of the project
Maintain ongoing relationship and expectation with all the upstream data providers and downstream partners.
Act as expert technical resource to programming staff in the program development, testing, and implementation process.
