This position supports provisioning and build functions for the back-end infrastructure on the Infrastructure Provisioning Build and Data Management team within Information Protection Technologies.
Works on provisioning and build activities of infrastructure for technologies supported by IPT. This position will perform hands-on technical/engineering work and builds specific to Hardware Security Modules (HSMs), Security Appliances and Windows and Linux servers running various services related to Information Protection tools and technologies, such as encryption, tokenization, and PKI. This position would also collaborate with partner teams on the engineering and documentation of build documents for the listed technologies. The individual selected for this position will be required to work on-site and at Wells Fargo data centers and/or managed labs and will in some cases be required to do on-site or virtual work during evenings/off-hours. Participates in interactions with technical, engineering and non-technical partners across the Enterprise for the implementation of the technologies listed above. Must have intermediate to advanced systems engineering experience in medium to large Enterprise environments.
7+ years of information security applications and systems experience
5+ years of experience engineering and analyzing server-based operating systems such as Windows or Unix
5+ years of experience with Linux operating system engineering or automation
5+ years of technical troubleshooting experience
3+ years of technical documentation and publication experience
2+ years of experience with encryption technologies
Advanced Information Security technical skills and understanding of information security practices and policies
Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of data center equipment (Server, Storage, Network)
Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
Knowledge and understanding of configuration management solutions for information security and compliance controls
Knowledge and understanding of technology support: encryption infrastructure servers or appliances
1+ year of public key infrastructure experience
Other Desired Qualifications
Individual selected for this position must have the physical capability to lift IT equipment that could be up to 50 pounds as part of mounting security appliances or HSMs into racks in Wells Fargo Datacenters.
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and handle challenging end users professionally
Ability to work well with both local and remote team members and partner teams
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
