Wells Fargo's Enterprise Business Services Technology team is seeking a senior level business analyst to work on mutiple applications.
E-Business System Consultant 4 responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with batch processing, DB, and Microservices.
Provides technical and business expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change and position Wells Fargo for the future.
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes.
Works with teams to understand data modeling concepts and produce the data models as required for a given project.
Writes Functional Specifications documents and works with developers to identify and test all relevant scenarios.
Coordinates data profiling, mapping, and reconciliation tasks and documentation for incoming and outgoing source system of record data.
Works closely with business partners to evaluate business requirements, plan projects, and participate in efficient development, delivery, and deployments.
Collaborates with interface partners as well as ensures quality throughout the process.
Participates as needed in compliance, risk, and regulatory processes within Wells Fargo.
Participates in transforming strategic enterprise architecture and design principles into specific system requirements and specifications.
Recommends and initiates systems testing.
Location: Selected candidate will be required to work within the following Wells Fargo location: 255 2nd Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55479. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: internet based business systems, intranet based business systems, or e-business consulting
2+ years of SQL experience
2+ years of data analysis experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
Ability to identify business needs and deliver solutions in close partnership with line of business and technology
Ability to manage complex data collection and analysis activities including conducting extensive source-to-target mapping exercises
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
Experience designing and optimizing complex SQL queries involving table joins and correlated sub-queries on large scale data tables
Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment
Other Desired Qualifications
Understanding of management reporting concepts like capital allocation, funds transfer pricing, and cost allocation
Understanding of banking products; how they are structured, how they post to GL, expected revenue streams, etc.
Understanding of credit, or deposit and TM products
Experience mapping credit and deposit applications into a management reporting platform
