The Fraud Agent II is responsible to reduce financial fraud and financial crimes against the organization and its customers.
Reviews Complex Claims and determine pay/deny decisions related to Fraud, Merchant and billing disputes/transactional errors involving unauthorized and/or authorized use of Debit cards ( ATM, PIN and POS)
Handles research and processing of provisional credits as applicable as well as chargebacks to recover lost funds for the customer and/or TD Bank Adds, changes, and deletes information in multiple system screens within multiple systems Complies with all pertinent Risk Operations procedures as outlined in operating instructions Meets minimum individual performance thresholds, departmental goals, and service level agreements.
Demonstrates strong understanding and compliance with all Federal and Visa related regulations and/or guidelines
Promotes strong and lasting customer relationships by calling to develop claims and advocating for our Customers
Follows customer problem resolution process to take ownership of customer concerns and resolving customer issues at the first point of contact
Refers cases of suspected Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing, or At Risk/Elder abuse to the appropriate teams for follow-up and investigation
May testify in court to verify Bank records
Works with Local and Federal law enforcement agencies as well as Legal teams
Acts as a backup to Team Leader as needed for basic floor coverage and questions
Provides training and assistance to new team members and/or less experienced staff
Reviews reporting to identify trends and optimizes recovery opportunity
May assist the department by completing quality reviews on end-to-end process and/or Associate (vendor or TD)
Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
High school diploma required
2 year's fraud experience (For internal associates, 1 year's fraud experience and a current rolling 90 day ADS rating of 3.5+)
Proven ability to stay focused in a continuous process flow and keep pace within the work team
Superior verbal and written communications skills
Excellent interpersonal and motivation skills
Demonstrated ability to handle change
Displayed sense of ownership in relation to attitude and actions, assignments and event outcomes
