Responsible for the overall performance of the ATM sponsorship business at Meta including the development of any optimization and growth initiatives in alignment with the overall Payments’ strategy. Manages pricing, contract negotiations, operations, and the ATM departmental P&L as well as a team of direct reports.
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for all aspects of the ATM Sponsorship department P&L.
Assist the Divisional President in developing and executing the strategic direction of ATM sponsorship.
Develop strong working relationships with key partners and their associated decision makers to include ISOs, Networks, Processors and Manufacturers.
Participate in setting balanced risk and compliance best practices.
Solicit new business and manage sales cycle through contract execution.
Identify partner needs and cross-sell of all applicable Meta products/solutions to meet those needs.
Participate in relevant committees, conferences, and trade associations supporting the ATM industry.
Coordinate and facilitate annual ATM Expo and ensure agenda contains meaningful content.
Work with Management and Staff to develop a thorough understanding of the contractual relationships and account plans focused on partner growth.
Work with internal and outside counsel to ensure compliance to law and regulatory standards.
Review Association and Debit Networks operating regulations to ensure compliance.
Oversee execution of accurate monthly partner billing.
Delegate, prioritize, and manage daily workload as appropriate.
Leads team and conducts employee reviews, career development plans and disciplinary actions.
Develops the individual partner relationships and ensures goals, strategies and objectives are in place to support the execution of all partner and Meta plans.
Serves as a primary point of escalation for partners needing support in addition to what is provided by the individual ATM team members.
Negotiates new agreements with existing partners and works closely with finance and management on competitive pricing strategies to maximize value to Meta.
Identifies and drives new product opportunities within Meta, with and for partners.
Monitors and assesses trends, problem areas, understands client’s unique needs, providing them with feedback on Meta’s performance and theirs, keeping them current in all facets of Meta’s business and keeping lines of communication with partners open at all times and at all levels.
Has a deep understanding of MetaBank strategy, policies, products, systems and processes and works within these to further growth and development of partner business with Meta.
Has a deep understanding of all partner’s business, key decision makers and influencers, trends in the industry, inherent and residual risks as well as the competition. Consults regularly with partner on these topics.
On call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and responds appropriately to ensure Meta support groups respond and react accordingly.
Required to carry a cell phone and travel to partner site(s) as necessary.
Engages Meta senior management across the organization as appropriate to assist with reaching partner objectives and growth plans.
Provides coaching, mentoring, and support to team members. Acts as a role model for every team member and across the organization by demonstrating a personal commitment to excellence while exhibiting unquestioned integrity and trust.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree from a college or university; and 5 plus years of management/supervisory experience.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
Knowledge of contract content and structure
Comprehensive understanding of the functionality and mechanics of the ATM industry
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment
Demonstrated leadership experience
